Supervisor

Supervisors provide ongoing coaching and support throughout a practitioner’s engagement along with subsequent reporting to CPABC a report for the areas where assistance was provided. When a Supervisor is required as a result of a firm’s practice review, this individual must be first approved by the Director, Practice Review.

When a firm initially engages a Supervisor, they are required to obtain a signed Supervisor confirmation, a copy of which is submitted to CPABC. For each engagement where the Supervisor is involved, the practitioner is required to submit a report to CPABC detailing the nature and area(s) of the engagement where assistance was provided.
